Many people wonder what is a RSS feed. Have you ever watched the news and noticed the little news ticker at the bottom of the TV, providing you with all the latest news developments as they happen? Or maybe you are an investor and have a stock ticker running on your computer, allowing you to have access to all the latest share prices whenever you need them? Now imagine the convenience of these two things, multiply it by 10, and have it delivered straight to your desktop. Now you have the basic idea of an RSS Feed.
RSS Feeds allow you to check the latest news from your favorite website directly from desktop, without the need to open up your internet browser. RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, feeds allow you to send and receive the latest news headlines from your favorite websites, whether it be a large news network such as CNN or just a small developing website. Better yet, RSS feeds are free, all you need is the correct software and you can start receiving feeds instantly.
