(NASDAQ:TRFC), a leading provider of accurate, real-time traffic information in the United States, announced today that it has introduced the Company's free, real-time traffic services to five additional major metropolitan areas in the U.S. -- Hartford, Conn.; Cleveland, Ohio; Charlotte, N.C.; Jacksonville, Fla.; and Richmond, Va.

The Traffic.com my traffic.com(TM) suite of traffic services gives drivers the real-time traffic information they need-when, where and as often as they need it. Users can personalize and save their daily commutes or travel routes by visiting www.traffic.com. Following registration and set up of a my traffic.com account, users are sent custom traffic reports and alerts featuring Jam Factor(R) indicators for their saved drives. A proprietary, color-coded, numerical system, Jam Factor gives consumers an at-a-glance, accurate view of current traffic conditions: drive times, delays, incidents, average speed and slowest speed along a route, as well as indication of worsening or improving congestion trends, for each route.

--my traffic.com on-demand - allows drivers to call a traffic hotline at 1-866-MY-TRAFC to get up-to-the minute summarized or detailed traffic information for their drives.


--my traffic.com phone alerts - give drivers updates by phone on days at times selected and/or when there are delays along user-specified routes exactly for the levels of congestion and at the times requested.


--my traffic.com mobile e-mail alerts - provide plain text updates scheduled by the user and designed for delivery to a mobile e-mail device.


--my traffic.com desktop e-mail alerts - deliver fully-formatted traffic reports at scheduled times to a user's email address(es).
