RSS news feed to webmail packages launched by Lycos UK

LYCOS UK has announced the introduction of 'My News', a Really Simple Syndication feed to its e-mail service enabling users to subscribe to live news services without divulging their e-mail addresses.

The new service will enable news updates from a number of sites to be delivered live to users e-mail inboxes throughout the day. The introduction of the RSS feed means that LYCOS users can now manage their e-mail, calendar, SMS messaging and news feeds from a single online desktop.

The service is being tested on the site immediately and is available for free.
